BETRAYAL

Today I was  betrayed by the guy I thought was my best friend …. Kristian Slater lead singer with ‘The Banned’.

Do I feel bad putting this in the public domain …like hell I do …I can’t f******* believe it !!!!

After I’ve spent months putting together a group of the best musical talent in the country for him to sing in front of . And I got them a really cool first gig in Bristol ,that went down briliantly…after it Kristian my so called mate calls me back stage to introduce me to this slick dickhead with a Black Berry and a bottle of scotch in his hand.

‘Dex..my man’ says slick dick (…Clive he’s called….. ponce’s name if you ask me..) ’You’ve done a great job with these guys’.

“These guys” and Kristian “my mate” can only look at the floor as Clive goes onto tell me that ‘The Banned’ are destined for big things ‘ . ‘I know that mate ‘ I says .’I hope you’ll keep coming to see them’ But my voice was already breaking by then .

Anyway he tells me the guys have signed up with him but there maybe a role for me still …I told them where to shove it and walked out with the c***t’s whiskey.  As I’m going I can hear him still talking..How he needs to rename them and maybe ‘readjust’ their sound…alarm bells should be ringing but he’s just handed out a load of cash,alcohol and e!!Kristian and BriggyD came scooting out after me…but I just kept walking.

So I’m sitting here now at midnight… blogging….. with an empty bottle of scotch on the floor listening to Amy W. wondering what the hell to do next ….

Today I have decided that the only way to succeed is to go out a grab life by the balls and take the things you want.

My mate Kristian is a great singer , he’s a bullshitter because he’s not really called Kristian but he’s gone all God Squad on me and is wearing one of those silver rings that say you’re saving yourself !! The Fellowship of the Ring …not..

Whatever …the honeys love it. Though …they just always seem to see through it when I try it on ..probably cos I’ve already got half me kit off whilst trying to convince them that I’m still a virgin …. But my point is he’s a GREAT singer …

 I just need to surround him with some talent , play the right gigs and I’m sure it’ll work out ….look at McLaren and the Sex Pistols and who’s seen the Commitments …old school I know but there’s lessons to be learned there. Music can meet business….and we can make loads of wonga .

 If anyone knows any musos who want to attach themselves to the next big thing …send them my way .I’ll be blogging. By the way I’m thinking that we need slightly jollier tunes than this but the playing and singing work well ..
